• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact nursing license eligibility
• At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or sooner per unit needs
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Experience in acute care, telemetry nursing, or stepdown nursing strongly preferred
• Background with orthopedic, post-op, drain management, and telemetry patients preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Tele patients
• Perform ongoing assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
• Care for post-operative orthopedic patients, including those with surgical drains and mobility needs
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support staff to support optimal recovery
• Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and discharge expectations
• Document thoroughly and maintain a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and communication
