Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse opportunity in Madison, WI. This position involves providing specialized care on a fast-paced neuro unit, working with adult and geriatric patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions. The role offers the opportunity to enhance clinical skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in a nationally recognized, Magnet-designated facility.

Job Details

• Location: Madison, WI
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 1900 - 0730, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation and holidays as needed. Schedule includes 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: WI RN license or compact RN license, BLS certification (AHA only), minimum 2 years of recent inpatient RN experience in neuro MS/T, Epic experience, and pass Telemetry test prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level II experience, prior community hospital experience, and experience with access ports, CVA, spinal cord injury, and other neuro-specific procedures.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with charting system Epic, possess certifications in BLS, and demonstrate proficiency in managing neuro patient care, including dysrhythmias, wound care, and use of specialized equipment. Telemetry interpretation skills and 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years are required.
• Certifications: BLS, WI RN or compact RN license.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must pass a strict Telemetry exam with adult and pediatric components, with up to three attempts allowed, and submit a certificate of completion if necessary. The assignment is contingent upon passing the test criteria.
