The role involves providing care in various Med/Surg Tele areas. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips. Candidates should have experience interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours. TR Band experience is required. The clinician-to-patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night. The patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health patients, and non-vented patients who are transfer-ready from the ICU. Units range from 8 to 41 beds. The schedule will rotate between days, evenings, and nights as needed. The charting system used is EPIC.
