Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurse position is located in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency care setting. The role involves managing adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, excluding critical care. The position requires providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a border unit environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland (MD) state license or Compact license, BLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications, 2 years of RN experience, and experience in a patient ratio environment of 6 or more.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification.
• Patient Age Range: Adults to Geriatrics.
• Patient Diagnoses: Variety of diagnoses, excluding critical care units, in a border care setting for all hospital units except critical care.
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required.
• Holidays: Work as scheduled, including major holidays during the winter season.
• Other Details: Floating may be required within scope, including Medical Surgical and Telemetry units. Candidate must be comfortable floating and have current certifications. Compliance documents must be completed within 5 days prior to start.
• Experience: 2 years of RN experience preferred; minimal required experience is 0.
