• Patient Ratio: 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in the specialty area
• Current acute care experience within the last 12 months required
• Active compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred/required per unit needs
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Deliver symptom management support for pain, nausea/vomiting, fatigue, and other complex needs
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV access, and support safe, effective treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, social services, and rapid response resources
• Support comfort-focused care while maintaining clinical excellence and patient dignity
• Float as needed to similar or lower-acuity units based on staffing needs
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
