Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care
• Current RN license in hand at time of submission
• Recent, consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with IV starts and tracheostomy management
• Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to mixed-acuity medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Perform IV starts, tracheostomy care, and support drain management
• Administer nursing interventions with a strong focus on infection prevention and fall reduction
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support the plan of care
• Float to equivalent or lower acuity units as needed
• Maintain professional, patient-centered care throughout the assignment
