• Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of current, consistent acute care Med/Surg Tele experience or higher within the last 12 months
• Epic charting experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to work in a high-acuity environment with oncology-related patient care needs
• Strong attention to infection prevention and fall prevention practices

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg Tele patients in an oncology-focused acute care environment
• Float as needed to other Med/Surg Oncology units based on staffing needs
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support care for patients with complex medical and surgical diagnoses
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Follow infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention standards
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and other clinical team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a specialized cancer care setting
