Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong telemetry nursing skills, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and oncology-focused care preferred
• Ability to work nights and adapt to variable scheduling needs
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing education required
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to rhythm changes and patient condition updates
• Administer medications and therapies, including chemotherapy when applicable
• Support patients undergoing specialized oncology-related procedures and treatments
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Promote infection prevention practices and patient safety at all times
• Assist with patient education, comfort measures, and emotional support throughout the care experience
