Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent inpatient nursing experience required
• Med/Surg Tele or comparable acute care experience required
• Current RN license in hand at time of submission
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
• ACLS preferred
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Ability to float to other MS Tele units as needed
• Must be comfortable working with high-acuity oncology patients
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor
• Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical oncology and telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support complex care plans
• Perform assessments, document findings in Epic, and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Support infection prevention and fall prevention initiatives
• Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors and some blood cancers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Float to equivalent or lower acuity units as required
• Maintain flexibility to meet unit staffing needs and rotating shift assignments
