Position Highlights

• Flexibility with day/night rotation
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Care primarily for adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric cases
• Opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed
• Gain valuable experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Diverse responsibilities include medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient care, and some pediatric care
• Collaborative and supportive nursing team environment

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team. You will have the chance to care for a diverse range of patients while utilizing your clinical expertise to make impactful decisions.

Utilizing the Nursing Process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, addressing the physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients of all ages. Collaboration with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff will be essential to ensure safe and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Current RN license in Vermont or Compact Multi-State RN License
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Experience with Meditech preferred

• This position primarily focuses on adult medical/surgical care with occasional pediatric patients; it is not a dedicated pediatric unit.
• Pediatric-only RNs will not be considered.
• Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions.
• Personal transportation is necessary due to the rural location.
• Travel nurses are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations.
• All required credentials must be submitted at least five business days prior to the start date.
