Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is located in Washington Courthouse, Ohio. This role involves providing direct patient care within a medical surgical setting that includes telemetry monitoring. The nurse will develop individualized care plans, assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.

Job Details

• Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Education Requirements: N/A
• Degree Requirements: N/A
• Location Requirements: Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum
• Schedule: Night shift (7 PM - 7 AM); 12-hour shift; 36 hours per week, every other weekend, no call, no holidays
• Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care, managing multiple priorities, recognizing and responding to patient complications, and supervising nursing tasks.
• Prior experience with electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred) and Pyxis medication distribution system is advantageous; training can be provided.
• Additional certifications such as HARP/CPI are preferred but not required; training available.
• The role involves caring for patients at the therapy to professional care unit (PCU) level of care, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5 or flexed to 1:6.
