The position requires working the night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 for 13 weeks. Experience in acute care is essential, with a minimum of 1 year required. An active New York Single State RN license is mandatory. Candidates must possess current BLS and NIHSS certifications. The role includes monitoring cardiac patients and responding to emergencies. Experience in IV therapy and phlebotomy is necessary. Nasal cannula and oxygen administration skills are required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about isolation precautions. This position may require floating within the appropriate skill set. The nurse will work with patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:7. Availability for every other weekend and holiday is expected.
