**Exciting Opportunity for an Acute Travel RN: Med/Surg!**
**Job Description:**
- Join us at Highpoint Health – Riverview as a dynamic Acute Travel RN in the Med/Surg unit!
- Location: Carthage, TN, a charming town on the banks of the Cumberland River.
- Work Schedule: 7 PM – 7 AM with a commitment to 36 guaranteed hours per week!
- Orientation: Weekly on Mondays, ensuring a smooth start to your journey with us.
- Weekend Shifts: Rotating weekends included.
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Facility Type:** 25-bed critical access hospital
- **Patient Population:** Primarily adult and geriatric patients with occasional pediatric cases
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 for a manageable workload.
- **Technology:** Use Meditech for efficient patient care.
**Qualifications:**
- **Required Certifications:** ACLS and BLS before starting.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a Med/Surg setting.
- **Essential Skills:**
- Proficient in IV administration, foley catheter insertion, and pain management.
- Experience with EMAR systems.
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Passionate about providing quality patient care.
- Familiarity with Meditech software.
- **Personality Fit:**
- Friendly, compassionate, and collaborative mindset.
- **Educational Requirements:**
- ADN or BSN from an accredited institution.
**Dress Code:**
- Scrubs: Any color allowed, with no casual wear permitted.
**State Specific Checks:**
- Compliance with the Tennessee Abuse Registry for all clinical staff required before start date.
