Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg/Tele

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Med-Surg/Tele unit. This position is ideal for those looking to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse patient population.

Position Details

  • Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Days (07:00 - 19:30)
  • Frequency: Every Other Weekend (EOW) and holidays as needed
  • Floating: Required across multiple locations if necessary

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, including respiratory issues, general surgical diagnoses, palliative care, and hospice patients.
  • Manage care for new diabetics and those with complications related to diabetes.
  • Monitor and assess psychiatric observation patients.
  • Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Traveler will be required to pass an EKG exam during the onboarding process.
  • Previous experience as a Charge RN is preferred.
