The position is located in a community hospital with 171 beds. This facility is accredited and serves as a regional referral center. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. Patient types include total joint patients, surgical patients, and those with acute on chronic medical conditions. The nurse will be expected to float to other units as needed. Equipment used includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, and drug dispensing cabinets. The expected patient ratio is 1:6. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of RN experience. Preceptor and charge experience is a plus. We are looking for candidates with a compassionate and positive attitude. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Weekend shifts will be included in the schedule. The dress code requires black scrubs, with open shoes being unacceptable.
