Description:
Located in a community hospital with 171 beds.
Accredited by Joint Commission.
Certified as a Chest Pain Center.
Level 3 Trauma facility.
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Typical patient cases involve total joint procedures, surgical patients, and individuals with acute on chronic conditions such as CHF and CKD.
Additional cases may include alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB.
Nurses must be able to float to other units when needed.
Equipment includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, drug dispensing cabinets, and defibrillators.
The EHR system used is Medhost.
The ideal candidate should possess a compassionate, positive, and can-do attitude.
Preferred experience includes charge nurse and preceptor roles.
The expected weekend commitment will be 4 shifts in a 4-week schedule.
There are no call requirements; however, shift flexibility may be necessary.
