There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract, you accept this requirement and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation. Patient diagnoses include chest pain, CAD, diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, COPD exacerbation, COVID-19, TIA, stroke, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, and others.
