Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12 hours per week. Every other weekend coverage required (subject to change based on unit needs). Floating to similar units may be required based on census.
Highlights:
- Progressive care telemetry unit serving as step-down from ICU with 28-bed capacity
- Patient population includes higher acuity cases: elevated oxygen requirements, dialysis patients, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac catheterization
- Manage cardiac drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation protocols
- 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
- EPIC electronic medical records system with minimum 1 year experience required
- 24 hours of paid orientation provided with module reimbursement up to 16 hours
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of progressive care or telemetry nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Experience with cardiac telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia management
- Competency in cardiac drip management, central line care, chest tubes, and post-cardiac catheterization care
- First-time travelers will be reviewed based on relevant experience
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
