Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical / Telemetry – Tennessee

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend required (may vary based on unit needs). Float to similar units as needed based on skillset.
Highlights:
- 30-bed unit with daily census of 15-20 patients, serving adult and geriatric populations
- Patient ratio experience of 6:1 required; medication system includes Omnicell
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, respiratory services, and more
- 13-week assignment with up to two instances of pre-approved time off
- Pre-assignment modules are compensated (up to 16 billable hours)
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical or Telemetry experience
- At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Skills include IV management, central line care, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, feeding tube care, PICC line management, and more
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
