Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: EKG requirement for all RNs Tele monitoring experience required Charge RN experience preferred Must float to all campuses as needed for patient care Description: The patient population will primarily consist of medical-surgical patients. The position requires three 12-hour night shifts. Staffing ratios are typically 1:5-6. The patient care team consists of RNs, CNAs, and support staff. Candidates must have experience with remote telemetry monitoring. Experience with the EPIC charting system is required. Charge RN experience is preferred. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed). The role involves management of various medical procedures and patient care tasks. Candidates should be familiar with handling and managing intravenous lines, oxygen administration, and wound care. The job includes caring for adult and geriatric patients with general surgical needs. Interdisciplinary support is available from various health professionals. When necessary, RNs may be floated to other areas for patient care. This position requires adhering to isolation precautions and infection control protocols. Medical and religious exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccines are accepted.
