Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting.
  • Float between units as required based on the needs of the facility.
  • Provide weekend coverage every other weekend, with potential changes based on unit needs.
  • Administer medications via the Omnicell medication system.
  • Document patient interactions and assessments using the EPIC documentation system.
  • Conduct EKGs and interpret results, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry field.
  • At least 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation is required.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be flexible and willing to seamlessly transition between units based on staffing needs. Successful applicants will be required to pass an EKG exam and complete core competencies due to the floating nature of the position.

Shift Details

  • Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30).
  • Floating may be required based on unit demand.
