Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), every other weekend required, 13-week assignment

  • Epic EMR and Pyxis medication management system
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, and pharmacy
  • 24-hour orientation provided; first-time travelers welcome
  • Float requirement to other areas holding medical-surgical patients; strong med-surg background essential
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry experience required
  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response/code team utilization
  • Demonstrated competency in IV therapy including blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care, and IV initiation
  • Experience with respiratory interventions including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE usage
  • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) and chemotherapy administration certification preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
