Located in a community setting with outdoor recreational activities nearby. Facility features include a Joint Commission Accreditation and multiple beds. The unit serves as a regional referral center and is designated as a Level 3 Trauma facility. Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. Common conditions include total joint cases, surgical patients, and patients with acute on chronic medical conditions. Floating to other units in the facility is an expectation. The equipment used includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, and drug dispensing cabinets. This role requires a compassionate and positive attitude. Preceptor and charge experience is a plus.
