Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have valid nursing license Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred, float requirements Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse in the MS/Tele Float specialty. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, managing patient care for adults and geriatrics. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:6. Candidates should be familiar with managing dysrhythmias and central line care. Candidates must be comfortable floating between various medical-surgical units as needed. All shifts will require weekend coverage every other week. Applicants may be accepted with a pending nursing license, but it must be obtained before starting. Completion of basic life support certification is required upon employment. The unit will have interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Nurses will be responsible for administering medication and managing IVs. Orientation and training modules will be provided prior to starting. The facility fosters a collaborative care environment with various support services available.
