Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Patient ratio of 6:1 on nights. Float required to other like units or nearby facilities as needed.
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit specializing in orthopedic and bariatric patient populations
- 25-bed unit with daily census of approximately 20 patients; adult and geriatric patient populations
- EPIC EMR system (minimum 1 year experience required); Pyxis medication management
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Social Services
- 13-week assignment with reimbursable pre-start modules (up to 16 hours)

Requirements:
- Active South Carolina RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience; 3 years of specialty experience required for first-time travelers
- Strong background in telemetry, with experience in blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and isolation precautions
- Experience with orthopedic and bariatric patient populations preferred
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Must reside 50+ miles from the contracted facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
