Any call-offs or additional RTO could lead to cancellation and DNR. Traveler experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted. Locals are accepted with a rate difference. The unit has a target ratio of 1:5, with occasional 1:6. The unit is a 24-bed MedSurg/Telemetry overflow unit. Daily teamwork and collaboration are emphasized to provide a remarkable patient experience. Nurses are expected to achieve and maintain optimal responses for quality patient care. Telemetry is monitored by a technician on another unit. Nurses must be proficient in treating dysrhythmias. This unit relies on interdisciplinary support, including IV teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Floating to sister units is mandatory as per job description. All candidates must complete EKG testing prior to start. Compliance with safety protocols and standard practices is essential. Candidates must display flexibility to adapt to unit needs. The goal is to deliver exceptional care to adult patients in a comprehensive manner.
