Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,897 per week in Winston Salem, NC

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week available. Every other weekend required. Float requirements apply to other med-surg units within the facility based on census needs.

Highlights:

• Fast-paced orthopedic and neuro spine unit with med-surg and post-surgical patients
• Patient ratio of 5-6:1, may flex to 7:1 in extreme cases only
• Epic EMR experience required; comprehensive orientation provided (36 hours)
• Contract length of 13 weeks or longer available, ending February 27
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Focus on excellent pain management and customer service-oriented care

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with orthopedic work experience required
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred (required for first-time travelers)
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Skills: IV start and maintenance, telemetry interpretation and management
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Preferred: ACLS certification, charge nurse experience, Level I trauma experience
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
