• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770

Job Requirements

• Current West Virginia RN license or Compact RN license; pending license accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of recent med/surg telemetry experience required
• BLS required through the American Heart Association
• ACLS preferred
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and continuous cardiac care
• Strong working knowledge of cardiac drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, and nitro
• Ability to work within scope on a busy, high-turnover medical telemetry unit
• Positive attitude, team-focused mindset, and flexibility to float within scope when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric telemetry patients
• Monitor patients with cardiac conditions such as acute MI, unstable angina, CHF, and arrhythmias
• Care for post-cardiac cath, post-angiogram, and PTCA patients
• Support a mixed inpatient and observation population with efficient, compassionate care
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient status, and communicate concerns promptly
• Administer and monitor prescribed cardiac drips safely and effectively
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care
• Float within scope as needed to support unit operations
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and uphold high standards of patient safety
