Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,660 - $1,750
• Setting: LTACH Med/Surg Tele unit
• Location: Columbia, South Carolina
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Orientation: Monday orientation with required pre-assignment testing and onboarding modules
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Registered Nurse Requirements

• 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
• 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong neuro experience required
• LTACH experience preferred
• Experience with complex wound care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and tracheostomy care/management
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments within qualified areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Tele setting
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms, responding quickly to clinical needs
• Provide complex wound care and tracheostomy care and support
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Administer treatments and assist with daily patient care based on unit protocols
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment and be prepared to float to other qualified areas when needed
