Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• At least 1 year of recent Epic EMR experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry management
• Strong clinical skills in complex wound care and tracheostomy care/management
• LTAC experience preferred
• Must be comfortable supporting day shift coverage and rotating weekend needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Tele setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform assessments, implement nursing interventions, and document care accurately in Epic
• Provide complex wound care, tracheostomy care, and other unit-specific nursing support
• Collaborate with physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit support staff
• Support patient flow and assist with floating to other qualified areas as needed
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care
