TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Orangeburg, South Carolina, 29118!

Job Title: MS Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: 2 years preferred License: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, and Interpretation of Dysrhythmias - Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs - Every other weekend requirement is non-negotiable Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele. The shift is a 3x12 day schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Ratios are 1:6 for patient care. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is required. The unit is new and being built from the ground up. There is a bedside monitor with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities. Charge responsibilities are split between stepdown and MS/Tele. Current status includes 18 beds with 24/7 coverage from a house supervisor. Leadership is available through phone during off-shift hours. Community hospital experience is preferred. The facility expects common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and chronic respiratory illnesses. Travelers should be prepared for emergency response assignments during hurricane season from June through November. Certificates in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Candidates with previous employment within the system must be separated for one year before returning as a traveler. Travelers should have a current South Carolina RN license or proof of application for the license.
