**Job Description:**
- **Position Title:** LPNT Acute Travel RN: MS
- **Location:** Riverview MC, Carthage, TN
- **Unit:** Med/Surg
- **Shift:** 7P-7A
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Hours:** Rotating weekends
- **Call Requirements:** None
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric care.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring optimal pain management.
- Utilize IV skills, foley catheters, and EMAR for efficient patient care delivery.
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 18
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5
- **Electronic Health Record (EHR):** Meditech
- **Common Diagnoses:** COPD, Pneumonia, Hip Fractures, Altered Mental Status, Falls, UTIs, Abdominal Pain
**Qualifications:**
- **Required Certifications:** ACLS, BLS
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a Med/Surg environment
- **Required Education:** ADN or BSN
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Proficient in IV therapy, foley insertion, and pain management
- Knowledge of EMAR
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Quality patient care driven
- Familiarity with Meditech
