Teaching and Community hospital experience preferred
Does not accept first-time travelers
Description:
This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts.
Floating to other units may be necessary based on skillset.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, subject to change based on need.
Experience with medication systems such as Omnicell is essential.
Charge experience is preferred, along with experience in managing a patient ratio of 6.
Strong skills in accessing and managing ports, central lines, IVs, and telemetry are required.
The nurse will work with adult and geriatric patients.
The daily census for the unit is approximately 15-20 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as IV, Physical Therapy, and Rapid Response.
Travelers must be willing to float to other units and campuses as necessary.
The completion of pre-assignment testing and required modules is expected before starting.
