Description:
This is a travel RN position in Orthopedic Surgery.
The unit has 36 beds and 27 staff members.
Staff during day shift includes 1 charge RN, RNs based on volume, 1-2 techs, and 1 secretary.
Night shift includes 1 charge RN, RNs based on volume, and 1-2 techs.
Patient ratios are 5:1 for RNs and 8-12 patients per tech.
Typical equipment includes immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.
Candidates with orthopedic/spine experience will be given priority consideration.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include total joints (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgeries.
