Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fargo, North Dakota.
Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate 12 h shifts with every other weekend and holiday; Unit Notes:**Cannot take any travelers living within a 60-mile radius of the facility. Local travel rate for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility
**MUST Haves: 2 years previous Med Surg experience.Level 1 trauma experience. EPIC experience. BLS - AHA Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment. General job duties. Types of procedures required. General Medical/Surgical patients. 15 bed unit that takes patients who are ready to be discharged from the ER but have not been assigned to a specific unit yet. Perform initial admissions and care for patient until they go to their new unit. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Epic. Zebra phones for communication. Omnicell for medications. Aleris IV pumpsRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Medical/Surgical Experience. Level I Trauma Center experience. 2+ years of medical/surgical experience. Epic experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS - must be AHA Shift or schedule requirements.12 hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730). Every other weekend and every other holiday. No call. Floating to over units/departments. Yes, will float to other medical/surgical units as needed. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.15 beds all private roomsNurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)5:1 Days. 6:1 Nights.
