Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role involves working in a 30-bed acute care unit specializing in Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.

Schedule

  • Shift: Nights - 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks
  • Every other weekend required
  • Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
  • Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed

Time Off

  • 40 hours of time off may be approved
  • Christmas time off requests cannot be approved

Requirements

  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Must adhere to float policies
  • Epic experience is required
  • Virginia nursing license pending is acceptable
