Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The position will involve working on an orthopedics unit that may overflow to medical/surgical telemetry when needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, particularly in administering cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.

Shift Information

  • Shift: Days (4x12 hour shifts, 07:00 - 19:00)
  • Block Scheduling may be accommodated

Patient Ratios

The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:6 to 1:7.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
  • Certifications required: BLS, NIHSS. ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing intravenous drips.
  • Pending license applications will be considered.

Special Requirements

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in administering drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.
  • This position may require handling cardiac drips during overflow situations in telehealth.

Note: The 90-mile radius rule applies for this position; local candidates will not be accepted. Previous permanent staff are ineligible for travel positions for 10 years.
