Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) Community Memorial Hospital Location pending. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a medical-surgical floor setting, focusing on adult patient populations with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and post-surgical recovery. The role requires experience in emergency and surgical care, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: MS RN
• Shift: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN licensure, BLS certification; ACLS and PALS are preferred; 2+ years of experience with specific focus on SCU (Surgical Care Unit) and ED (Emergency Department); travel experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse and supervisor experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Experience with med surg units, caring for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issues, THR, TKR, lumbar surgery, general surgery, COVID. EMR system used: Sorian. No on-call required.
