Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

This position requires a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1+ years of travel experience and at least 1+ years of Level 1/AMC experience. The role involves working 36 hours per week during the night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.

Essential Functions

  • Interpret plans of medical care and assess patients' clinical conditions.
  • Ensure nursing care is provided safely and competently.
  • Provide individualized nursing care and evaluate nursing care for groups of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Modify patient treatment plans based on responses and conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with practical nursing principles and skills for patient care and treatment.
  • Understanding of care requirements for various age groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Capability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

Certifications and Licenses

  • BLS Certification
  • Current Nursing License
