Job Description
Join the Magnet-designated nursing team at Stormont Vail Health for a rewarding night-shift assignment on 6 North (General Medical Inpatient). On this dynamic 32-bed unit, you will deliver patient-centered care to general medical patients presenting with diverse conditions, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, and infectious disease diagnoses. Practice within a supportive high-reliability culture dedicated to continuous improvement, clinical safety, and professional excellence.
Requirements
1+ years of recent clinical experience in an acute care Med/Surg nursing setting (no first-time travelers)
Active Kansas (KS) State License or Compact/Multi-State License (unencumbered)
Active AHA BLS Certification
Floating flexibility to other inpatient Med/Surg and post-surgical units as needed
Day 1 essential clinical competencies in general medical/surgical care, complex disease management, and Epic EHR charting (Navy Blue scrubs required)
Preferred Qualifications
Direct clinical experience managing complex medical, respiratory, and dialysis patient populations
Systems knowledge and proficiency with Epic EHR charting (test-out option available)
Previous travel contract experience in an acute care hospital setting
Level 1 Job ID #TRS---19509. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
