Join an active medical-surgical nursing team as a Med Surg Registered Nurse in Lawrence, KS. In this acute care unit setting, you will manage diverse patient loads, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical staff, and provide patient-centered care across 12-hour night shifts. Our agency offers dedicated support throughout your contract while you experience the vibrant culture and hospitality of eastern Kansas.
Shift Details: 12-Hour Nights; 36 Hours/Week (3x12s)
Weekend / Call: Weekend rotation as needed; No expected on-call requirement
Requirements: 1+ year of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience in an acute care setting; Active Kansas RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License in hand; Active BLS certification in hand; Floating flexibility as needed; Core acute care competencies and ability to work at least every other holiday (no full week RTO accepted during major holiday weeks); Preferred Qualifications: Previous Med-Surg or Step Down unit experience; Prior travel nursing contract experience (No new graduates)
