Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Shelby, NC

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Telemetry for a travel assignment in Shelby, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience with stroke, respiratory illnesses, and renal failure patients in a 32-bed unit. The role involves providing care with a focus on cardiac rhythm interpretation and wound care.

Responsibilities

  • Care for patients with strokes, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, and wounds.
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips.
  • Perform wound care, drain/tube management, and PIV starts.
  • Manage central lines.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Basic Med/Tele skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation and wound care
