Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a facility environment. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. The role requires adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Education verification, current Wisconsin license, CPR/BLS certification, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Additional Information: Travel RN may be required to float to other units. The position involves every other weekend and holiday coverage. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, documenting care, developing patient care plans, participating in performance improvement activities, and supporting the patient's longitudinal care plan through interdisciplinary collaboration. Critical thinking and escalation are essential for maintaining patient safety and experience.
