PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Shelby, North Carolina.

RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location: Shelby, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in MedSurg/Telemetry for a travel assignment in a 24-bed unit with an average daily census of 24. The ideal candidate will possess a basic Med/Tele skill set and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patients of various diagnoses, including cardiac, respiratory, and neurological conditions.

Assignment Details

  • Assignment Type: Travel
  • Shift Details: 0645-1915; 1845-0715, every other weekend rotation
  • Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $2025 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, and neurological diagnoses
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
  • Administer IVs, blood products, and perform wound care/dressing changes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, phlebotomy, and RT
  • Float within the region as needed, maintaining excellent patient care standards

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system (minimum 6 months)
  • Basic Med/Tele skillset
