RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Shelby, NC

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced RN for the MedSurg/Tele unit in Shelby, NC. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience and be comfortable handling a variety of patient diagnoses, including stroke, respiratory illnesses, and renal failure. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide care for a variety of patient types including stroke and respiratory illnesses
  • Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and manage cardiac drips
  • Conduct wound care and manage drains/tubes
  • Initiate PIV starts and manage central lines

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Basic Med/Tele skills such as cardiac rhythm interpretation and non-titrating cardiac drips experience
