RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Shelby, NC

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a MedSurg/Telemetry RN in a dynamic healthcare setting in Shelby, NC. This role involves providing comprehensive care for patients with a variety of medical needs, including stroke and respiratory illnesses. Ideal candidates will possess at least 18 months of experience in a similar Med/Tele setting and be prepared to work collaboratively within a team-focused unit culture.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
  • Perform wound care, drain and tube management
  • Initiate PIVs and manage central lines
  • Collaborate with CNAs for ADLs, mobility, and feeding
  • Work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Monitor patients requiring special observation via virtual nursing technology

Qualifications

Required:

  • RN with current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • 18 months of experience in Med/Tele
  • Basic Med/Tele skillset
