Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Charlotte, NC

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing diverse patient diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, and stroke symptoms, with at least 18 months of experience. The RN will be part of a resource team where flexibility and adaptability are essential.

  • Facility Type: Chest Pain and Stroke Center
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Nights

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
  • Local Candidate Policy: Permanent residence must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Responsibilities

  • Manage Med/Tele overflow patients and support inpatient units/ED holding
  • Assess and treat patients with various diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, and respiratory issues
  • Utilize skills in stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and various medical procedures
  • Administer and manage medications, including cardiac drips and blood products

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • General Med/Tele skillset, including stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Competency in tracheostomy care, PIV starts, and drain/tube management
