Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MedSurg RN)

About the Position

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MedSurg RN) will provide care for patients with a variety of medical conditions. This role requires a detail-oriented and compassionate nurse to deliver quality and safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts, Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6-7
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
  • Holiday Rotation: Participation required
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 Year in a MedSurg setting
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted
  • License Requirement: Valid SC license or Compact license in hand prior to start
  • Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Miscellaneous Information

  • Block Schedule Accommodation: Approval may be requested but is not guaranteed
  • Local Radius: 60 miles
  • Locals Accepted: No locals accepted
  • Request Time Off (RTO): All RTO must be included at submission; approval will depend on needs
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
