Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neurology, located in Chicago, IL. This role involves providing care on a Neuro stroke unit, with the potential to float to other Medical Surgical units as needed. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts, primarily from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Details

• Location: Chicago, IL
• Position Description: Med/Surg RN with 2+ years of Neuro experience required, including experience on a Neuro stroke unit.
• Certifications: IL RN license, BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred but not required.
• Education Requirements: Successful candidates will have a valid Illinois Registered Nurse license and current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Years of Experience: 2+ years of Med/Surg RN and Neuro unit experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Applicants must submit a resume, two references, skills checklist, and copies of certification and license verification, including BLS and NIHSS. Experience with Epic electronic medical records is required. The contract duration is 12 weeks starting from 10/26/2026 or any subsequent Monday.
