Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN) for a day-shift operating room assignment. The successful candidate will support a variety of surgical specialties while delivering exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care.
- Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative responsibilities.
- Ensure proper surgical room setup and sterile field maintenance.
- Assist the surgical team throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient status and maintain patient safety standards.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow facility policies, quality standards, and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Active California RN License required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Current NIHSS Certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
- Experience in:
- Trauma Surgery
- Robotic Surgery
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Skills checklist required with submission.
